Venue
The venue, the Innovation Center (innovationcenterfirenze.it), is a historical building named “Granaio dell’Abbondanza" (Granary of Abundance) located in Florence downtown. The venue is part of a very characteristic historical neighbourhood of Florence, named “Oltrarno" (literally “On the other side of the Arno river”). The Innovation center is conveniently located in Florence downtown, surrounded by heterogeneous lodging options, cultural attractions at walking distance, and renown local cuisine resturants.

From Santa Maria Novella Railway Station (SMN)
The venue (Via del Tiratoio 1) is about a 20–25 minute walk from Firenze Santa Maria Novella, depending on the route.
Alternatively, you can take a taxi (typically ~5–10 minutes, traffic permitting) or use local buses. Closest bus stops to the venue include:
- Sant’Onofrio (about 1 minute walk)
- Soderini – Torrino – Santa Rosa (about 3 minutes walk)
Several urban bus lines serve stops near Via del Tiratoio (e.g., C3/C4 and other lines depending on route and time). For real-time routes and updates, we recommend using the official Autolinee Toscane “at bus” app or website.
From Florence Airport (Peretola)
Take the T2 tram line from the “Guidoni” stop (a short walk from the terminal) towards “Unità/Santa Maria Novella”. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Get off at “Alamanni – Stazione SMN”.
The T2 tram runs approximately from 05:00 to 00:50, with departures every 4–6 minutes.

From Pisa Airport (Galileo Galilei)
Option 1 – Direct bus: Several companies (e.g., Terravision, Flibco) operate direct coaches to Florence SMN in about 60 minutes.
Option 2 – Train: Take the “Pisa Mover” from the airport to Pisa Centrale station (5 minutes), then a regional train to Florence SMN (about 1 hour).

Public transport tickets
Florence urban public transport is managed by Autolinee Toscane (AT) (bus) and GEST (tramway).
The standard urban ticket is € 1.70 and (in Florence) it is valid for 90 minutes from validation on bus and tramway. Tickets must be validated/activated at first use. Please refer to the official operator websites for up-to-date fares, purchasing options, and sales points.
